Because that was when we first introduced our first meatless sando, the Smoked Portobello Sandwich, which features a “meaty” porto cap that’s:
- soaked overnight in a garlicky olive oil-vin blend,
- smoked, oh so gently (well under an hour),
- sandwiched in a Ken’s Artisan ciabatta roll,
- and topped high with pickled fennel, arugula and chèvre.
